Switch to STi Mobile and keep your current phone
number!
You are able to switch your number from your current wireless or
landline service provider to STi Mobile - which utilizes the Sprint
all digital 3G nationwide network. This is called porting your
number.
How do I switch to STi Mobile?
- Call STi Mobile at 1-800-784-6099 to determine if your number
is eligible for switching.
- STi Mobile will need to know information about your existing
account, so please have a current bill from your existing carrier
ready. You will need to tell us:
- Your phone number
- Account Number and Social Security Number or Tax ID
- Exact billing name and address on your bill
- Account password (if applicable)
- Purchase an STi Mobile Phone and Wireless Recharge Card. If
you want to switch your number to STi Mobile, you will need to
switch phones.
- STi Mobile will take care of the transfer process. If the
transfer cannot be completed in the anticipated time, STi Mobile
will contact you to provide an update.

What can I expect?
Since number portability requires simultaneous efforts of
multiple companies, it may take time for you phone number to become
active.
Activation times will vary, depending on the type of number
portability. For instance, a wireless to wireless transfer may take
only 2.5 hours and a landline to wireless transfer may take up to
four days. However, both may take longer due to circumstances beyond
STi Mobile's control.
A final word on
switching.
If you have a contract with your exiting carrier, you may be
charged an early termination fee. Do not
cancel your current service with your existing
carrier. If you cancel the service, you may end up
losing your number. STi Mobile will contact your old carrier to
complete the switch, at which time your account will be cancelled by
your old provider.
STi Mobile's goal is to complete a customer's wireless transfer
within a matter of hours. For customers who transfer their home or
business landline to an STi Mobile phone, the process may take a few
days.
